Then the main hanfu part—cross it left over right, no exceptions, or it’s ‘wrong.’ Tie the sash around your waist, not too loose or it’ll slip, and add any outer stuff if you’re going for drama. Took me forever to not panic, but it’s pretty straightforward now!
