What Hanfu Should I Wear to a Formal Event?
I’ve heard there are specific occasions where wearing Hanfu is more appropriate. For example, if I’m attending a formal banquet, how should I choose my Hanfu? Should I avoid overly ornate styles and keep it understated? Or are there occasions when Hanfu isn’t suitable?

For formal occasions like banquets, you’ll want to choose a more elegant and subdued Hanfu style. Avoid extremely elaborate or bright designs, as they may come across as too attention-grabbing. Instead, go for classic, understated colors and fabrics that still show respect for the occasion. Some situations may not be suitable for Hanfu, such as very casual or modern events, where it might feel out of place.”
