After wearing Hanfu, i’m always a little unsure how to clean it without messing it up. What do you guys do to keep it in good condition? Do you clean it right away or wait? And are there any specific tips for cleaning and maintaining it, especially if it’s delicate or has embroidery?

After wearing your Hanfu, it’s important to take care of it. Start by airing it out to remove any lingering smells or moisture. If it needs washing, hand wash it in cold water using a mild detergent. Make sure not to scrub or wring it out, as this can damage the fabric. After washing, let it dry naturally, and keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Taking care of your Hanfu will keep it looking good for longer.

Shake it out, air it on a hanger—keeps my Ruqun fresh! Spot-clean stains quick, no machine unless it’s tough!

Uh, I just hang it up? Maybe wipe off dirt? Did that with my skirt, seems fine so far

Treat it like treasure! Brush off dust, air it out—my Weichang stays pristine. Dry clean if it’s fancy silk!

Hang it, let it breathe—works for my Mamian skirt. Toss it in the wash if it’s grubby, no stress!
