Personally, I feel that in extremely formal Western business environments (such as investment banking or legal consulting) or settings that strictly require Business Formal attire (suits and skirt suits), Hanfu may be viewed as “eccentric clothing” or a cultural display rather than professional wear, which could easily distract attention during negotiations.
