What to do when people take photos of you in Hanfu?
Sometimes when i’m out in Hanfu, people stop me to take photos or videos. I’m not sure how to react—should i just let them take pictures or should i ask them not to? I don’t mind the attention, but i also want to make sure i’m handling it in a respectful way. What do you do when people want to snap a photo of you in Hanfu?

If people want to take your photo while you’re wearing Hanfu, you can either pose for them or politely decline. If you don’t mind, give them a smile and let them snap a few pictures. If you’re not comfortable with it, it’s perfectly fine to say no. Some people might ask to tag you or share the photo—if you’re okay with that, you can ask them to send it to you afterward. Whatever you choose, just remember that it’s your decision, and you should feel comfortable with it.
