I want to wear Hanfu around my friends, but I’m a little worried they might think i’m going overboard. How do you wear it in a way that feels natural and not like you’re trying too hard? I want to look good, but i don’t want to seem like i’m trying to impress anyone too much. Any tips for wearing it casually?

If you want to wear Hanfu in front of friends without standing out too much, go for a simpler style. Pick designs with fewer embellishments and go for subtle colors. Keep accessories minimal—think simple sashes or hairpins. Hanfu doesn’t have to be over-the-top; it can be as casual or as formal as you want. Ultimately, it’s about how comfortable you feel in it, so wear it in a way that makes you happy.

Keep it low-key! Pair a Mamian skirt with a chill top—looks dope but not over-the-top. I’ve worn it with pals, no one batted an eye!

Uh, I’d go simple—like a short jacket and skirt? Feels less ‘whoa’ with friends. Tried it, didn’t feel too extra!

Ease into it! A sleek Beizi over something basic keeps it subtle yet cultured. I’ve done it—friends just think it’s cool!

Stick to basics—Mamian skirt, plain top. I’ve rocked that around buddies, blends right in, no fuss!

Light Song set, nothing wild! I’ve worn it with mates—keep it casual, maybe add sneakers. Totally works!
