Is it weird to pair modern shoes with Hanfu?
I don’t have any traditional shoes for my Hanfu, so I was wondering—would it look weird if I wore modern shoes like sneakers or something else? I just want to be comfy and still look cute in my Hanfu. Can I make modern shoes work without messing up the whole look?

It’s totally cool to wear modern shoes with Hanfu! If you don’t have traditional shoes, no worries—you can wear sneakers, flats, or other simple modern shoes. Just make sure they’re not too clunky or flashy, though. Stick with something minimal, like white sneakers or black flats, and they’ll work just fine. The key is comfort—there’s no reason to sacrifice your comfort for tradition if it doesn’t feel right for you. As long as your shoes aren’t too distracting or out of place, you’ll look stylish and still be comfy in your Hanfu.

Not weird—flats or chunky sandals are in. Mixes eras, looks fire!
