  • How Can I Wear Hanfu in Winter Without Freezing?

I’ve been thinking about wearing Hanfu in winter, but the materials don’t seem ideal for cold weather, especially since I live in a place that’s both cold and wet in winter. Do you have any good suggestions on how to wear Hanfu without freezing? Should I go for thicker fabrics, or can I stay warm with layering? How do you guys wear Hanfu in winter?

If you live in a cold area, you can choose thicker fabrics like wool or cotton for your Hanfu. Layering is key—wearing warm base layers like sweaters, long-sleeve tees, or even a down jacket underneath your Hanfu can keep you warm without sacrificing style. You can also add a coat or cloak on top for extra protection from the cold, and this way, you can still wear Hanfu comfortably in winter.

Fleece-lined cloaks exist. Thank you, innovative designers. You’ll look regal, not like a walking blanket
