  • How to get rid of wrinkles in your Hanfu?

So, I wore my Hanfu a couple of times, and now it’s got some wrinkles that just won’t go away. How do you guys get rid of wrinkles without ruining the fabric or embroidery? I want to make sure i’m not causing any damage. Is there a safe way to iron or steam it, or should i just leave it as is?

Dealing with wrinkles in your Hanfu is pretty simple. First, steaming is the most gentle way to get rid of them. Hang your Hanfu and steam it from a distance—this will smooth out the fabric without causing any damage. If you need to iron it, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the fabric. Be careful around delicate parts like embroidery; pressing too hard can ruin them. Also, avoid using heat on delicate fabrics like silk—it’s best to steam those.

Steam’s your friend—quick pass and my Ruqun’s smooth! Low iron if you’re desperate, but watch the heat, fam!

Preserve the elegance! Steam gently—my Weichang flows wrinkle-free. Iron on silk setting if you must, super careful!

Steam or a damp towel trick—my Song top’s crisp again. Low heat iron if I’m lazy, no burns yet!
