I’d love to wear Hanfu more often, but I’m concerned about the fabric. Are there particular materials that are better for everyday wear? I want something that’s comfortable, breathable, and easy to wear without feeling too hot or stiff. What are some good fabric choices for casual Hanfu that won’t make me feel like I’m overdressed?

Uh, I’d guess cotton? Seems soft and not too fancy. Tried it once, didn’t feel scratchy or weird, so probs a safe bet!

Cotton or linen, for sure. Linen’s my jam in a Mamian skirt—cool, easy to move in, doesn’t cling when I’m out and about!
