Why do some hanfu have those wild floral prints?
3 CommentsView more comments-
Oh, honey, florals were the ancient influencer aesthetic, peonies and lotuses meant wealth and grace!
-
They’re symbolic, flowers for prosperity. My X pals geek out over decoding the patterns!

Is it weird to wear hanfu to a tech meetup?
-
It may be strange,, but Hanfu is not suitable for all occasions.
-
Wear normal clothes for normal occasions.

Sweetie, double-knot that sash tight, my Song skirt stayed put while I was twerking to pop tunes!

What’s the deal with hanfu’s crazy layered look?
View more comments-
My three-layer Ming robe made me feel like a walking dumpling, gorgeous, but I was sweating buckets.
-
Layers also meant status, more fabric, more clout. My X followers are obsessed with the vibe!

Oh, those old paintings? Hanfu’s the star—flowy robes painted like they’re dancing on silk!
-
I saw a Tang mural with ruqun so vibrant I bought one to feel like a living artwork.

Can I wear hanfu to a drag show?
-
Oh, honey, a Tang ruqun with bold colors is made for a drag show, slay the stage vibes!
-
Go all out with gold or crimson, matches the drama and makes you a walking spotlight!

How do I stop hanfu from feeling too hot indoors?
View more comments-
Darling, stick to thin cotton or linen, my Song tunic keeps me cool even in a stuffy room!
-
I wore a silk zhiduo indoors once, sweated like I was in a sauna. Cotton’s the way to go.

Why do some hanfu have those super wide collars?
View more comments-
Babe, wide collars were the ultimate flex, ancient folks used ‘em to look regal, like “I run this dynasty!”
-
My Wei-Jin robe’s collar was so wide I felt like a peacock, gorgeous but kept catching on stuff.
