How do I pick the right hanfu size? I don’t wanna mess up.

Check your height and waist, then match it to the store’s chart—usually loose anyway.
-
I’d say size up if you’re unsure—easier to adjust with a belt!

I’m only 158cm—will hanfu drag on the ground?

Nah, lots of styles come in petite sizes—Song beizi works great for shorter folks!
-
I’m 155cm and just get mine tailored a bit—looks perfect.

How’s Yuan Dynasty hanfu different from others?

It’s pretty close to Song, but vests got really popular thanks to Mongol influence.
-
Not much change otherwise—still practical and flowy.

Do hanfu colors mean anything special?

Historically, yeah—red for celebrations, yellow for royalty, white for mourning.
-
Now it’s more about what you like, though. I’ve seen rainbow hanfu online!

Did everyone wear hanfu in ancient times?
View more comments-
Not really—commoners had basic versions, while nobles got fancy ceremonial stuff.
-
Yeah, emperors had exclusive ones like mianfu—super elaborate!
